Employee Programs
In addition to making grants, the Foundation operates three programs for MWV employees and their spouses:
Encouraging employee volunteer involvement is a strong tradition at MWV. The Grants for Volunteers program provides grants that recognize the time and effort employees and their spouses invest in volunteering for organizations.
Quality education programs are essential for a bright and successful future for us all. The Matching Gifts for Education program encourages employee donations to support elementary, secondary and higher education.
Leadership is a quality that we value and cultivate at MWV. Effective nonprofit leadership is essential. It requires a substantial commitment of time and talent. The
Matching Gifts for Volunteer Leaders
program helps us recognize employees and spouses who serve on governing boards of nonprofit organizations. Under the program, the Foundation matches donations given by volunteer leaders to the organizations they help to govern.
